Techstars is a worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed. Arcadis partners with TechStars to identify and develop innovative start-ups to transform the natural and built environment. The “Arcadis City of 2030 Accelerator, Powered by Techstars” is a tangible action to make our passion to improve the quality of life a reality. Learnings from this process are also brought back to Arcadis to help us innovate and bring these innovations to our clients.

The Natural Capital Coalition (NCC) is a global platform which brings together the many different initiatives and organizations working in natural capital under a common vision.

The Coalition’s activities focus on global stakeholder engagement, focused research and development of methods for natural capital accounting. The Coalition’s founding members have pioneered much of the science and business case for natural capital valuation and accounting, providing a credible platform to take the business application of this forward.

We are an active member of the Natural Capital Coalition providing IP, resources and practical support recognizing the value incorporating natural capital in business decisions can bring.

ag手机投注We support the overall vision of the Natural Capital Protocol (NCP) to transform the way business operates through understanding and incorporating their impacts and dependencies on natural capital.

UN-Habitat contributes to one of the most urgent challenges in the world: sustainable urbanization. UN-Habitat’s mission is to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities by improving the quality of life of citizens around the world.

Arcadis supports UN-Habitat in facing these urban challenges by sharing our knowledge and expertise on the ground through the Shelter program. This is much more important than just donating money; it is a global partnership that makes a real difference. It’s about protecting the most vulnerable from the elements. It’s about building a better, sustainable future for all our communities.

Pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation, 100 Resilient Cities (100RC) is dedicated to helping cities around the world become more resilient to the physical, social and economic challenges that are a growing part of the 21st century.

100RC supports the adoption and incorporation of a view of resiliency that includes the shocks –  earthquakes, fires, floods, etc. – as well as the stresses that weaken the fabric of a city on a day-to-day or cyclical basis.

Through financial and logistical guidance, developing resiliency strategies, providing access to service providers and creating a network of cities that can learn from each other, 100RC aims to facilitate global resiliency among governments, NGOs, the private sector, and citizens.
