ag手机投注 Working in partnership with UN-Habitat, the Arcadis Shelter program is addressing one of the world’s most urgent sustainability challenges: urbanization. By 2050, up to 70% of the world’s population will live in cities, many of which are already struggling to maintain a decent standard of living for all residents. As the world’s leading design consultancy for built and natural assets, Arcadis is uniquely positioned to help. Since 2010, more than 1000 Arcadians have participated in one of the more than 100 Shelter missions, aimed at improving living conditions for some of the world’s most vulnerable people.
ag手机投注The Shelter program also gives our people a hands-on opportunity to volunteer their knowledge, skills and expertise to improve quality of life. Shelter missions bring together colleagues from across our global company, giving them the chance to travel abroad and interact directly with people from different cultures. In that way the program not only helps people in need, it also enriches the lives of participants. Learn more about what it’s like to go on a Shelter mission by reading the stories below.
